Author Biography: Sven Lüders

Sven Lüders studied business informatics at Chemnitz University of Technology, where he successfully earned a degree in business informatics. He has been with the SIGMA Group in Chemnitz since 2008, initially at SIGMA Gesellschaft für Systementwicklung und Datenverarbeitung mbH.  Lüders worked as an Infor ERP consultant at SIGMA for six years before taking on the role of department head for the Infor ERP Systems division in 2015. As part of the restructuring, he assumed the management of the newly founded SIGMA Enterprise Solutions GmbH, bringing to the company his extensive experience gained over more than 18 years in the IT industry. 

During his long career at SIGMA Gesellschaft für Systementwicklung und Datenverarbeitung mbH, Sven Lüders developed expertise in the Infor domain, specializing in Solution Architecture, Service, Tools, and Infor CloudSuite Industrial Enterprise. In addition to leading the department, his responsibilities as head of the ERP/Software division include solution architecture for clients, technical consulting in the service area, and the administration of Infor ERP systems. His professional expertise is also reflected in various certifications he has earned, such as the “Infor Certified Consultant” certification, as well as his membership in the Infor ERP User Group.

Among the standout client projects in his career to date at SIGMA in Chemnitz is a major project with the analytical instrument manufacturer Analytik Jena, which involved migrating to a new version of Infor, a redesign of the structures, the integration of third-party systems using current technologies, and the implementation of a multi-company structure (multisite), including the integration of foreign subsidiaries (rollout). His business-level English skills are a major asset when collaborating with international corporations.
